Nowadays, non-wireless networks do not belong to this trend. Wireless Networks, wireless LAN, wireless Internet, wireless technology ...... Why? Are you sure you want to clarify? So, this article will start with wireless Internet access, for those who do not understand the Internet, come to a wireless literacy.

1. What is wireless Internet access?

The so-called wireless Internet access is divided into two types. One is to enable the data function through the mobile phone and achieve wireless Internet access through the computer through the mobile phone or wireless network card. The speed is only about K, and it can only be regarded as an emergency response. Another wireless Internet access method is a wireless network device. It is a wireless Internet access method based on a traditional LAN and built on Wireless AP and wireless network card.

2. What is a Wireless AP?

AP (Access Point) is an abbreviation.
There are basically three types: 1. Wireless Access Point. 2. Wireless bridging. 3. wireless router.
1 is equivalent to a wireless HUB, or a wireless receiver. In addition to the 1 function, the 2 function can also be wirelessly bridging and relay. 3 is equivalent to the Integrated Product of 1 and a router.

Iii. What are the wireless network standards?

To solve the interconnection problem of Various wireless network devices, IEEE of the American Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) released the IEEE wireless protocol. Currently, the 802.11 standard mainly includes three standards: 802.11b, 802.11a, and 802.11g. It was first introduced as 802.11b, with a transmission speed of 11 MB/s, a maximum distance of 300 from the outside, and about 50 meters in the room. Because of its low connection speed, the 802.11a standard was introduced later, and its connection speed can reach 54 MB/s. However, due to their incompatibility, some wireless network devices that have already purchased the 802.11b standard cannot be used in the new 802.11a network, therefore, IEEE officially launched the fully compatible 802.11b standard and compatible with the 802.11a speed standard, so that through 802.11g, the original 802.11b and 802.11a devices can be used in the same network. Like 802.11b, IEEE802.11g also works in the 802.11 GHz band, which is 5 times faster than the current general 802.11b and fully compatible, when purchasing a device, we recommend that you check whether the protocol standard is supported. Select the one that suits you. The 802.11g standard is now available.

4. What are wireless networks?

Wireless Personal Network (WPAN): Wireless Personal Area Network stands for Bluetooth. It features a transmission distance of less than 10 m and a transmission rate of about 1 Mbps, which is faster than that of the original broadband Network.
Wireless LAN (WLAN): The Wireless Local Area Network represents the 802.11 series. It features a transmission distance of less than 100 m and a transmission rate of about 1 m-54mbps, which is faster than 802.11n.
Wireless MAN (WMAN): Wireless Metropolitan Area Network represents WiMax, with a transmission distance of less than 5 km and a transmission rate of about 70 Mbit/s.
Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN): Wireless Wide Area Network represents the Wireless Network of China Mobile Unicom. It features a transmission distance of less than 15 km and a transmission rate of about 3 Mbps, which is faster.
Generally, wireless Internet access refers to two types of WLAN and WWAN. WLAN is connected to Intelnet through a wireless access point, while WWAN is to go to the mobile or Unicom business office for relevant services.
