We all know that Foxmail's built-in Foxmail-Hotmail Proxy can be used to receive emails in Hotmail and MSN mailboxes. However, it has two drawbacks: one is that the collection speed is as slow as "turtle crawling ", first, Gmail is not supported, and Yahoo Mail is not well supported. Recently I found a very cool free software that allows your email client, whether you use Foxmail, OE, or Becky, all emails in Hotmail, Yahoo, MSN, and Gmail mailboxes can be received. If you like to play with blogs, RSS is also supported! Think about it. Now Hotmail 200 MB, Yahoo 1 GB, and Gmail 1 GB can handle local sending and receiving with only a small and exquisite software, which is really amazing.

1. Receive Hotmail, Yahoo, MSN, and Gmail emails

After the software is installed, you do not need to make any settings for it, and you can run it directly. What we need to do next is to add an account for setting up the mail client. I will use Foxmail to receive Gmail mail as an example. OTHER CLIENT friends can do the same.

First, select "account> New" in Foxmail to add the account wizard. First, set "User Name" and "email path". This setting is random.

Next, set the sender name and Gmail address. For Yahoo, MSN, and Hotmail, the input format is as follows:Xxx@yahoo.com.

Set the password below. Select "POP3 account" for "specify email server" and click "Next" to complete the wizard.

Right-click the account you just added, select the "properties" menu, switch to the "Mail Server" tab, and set "receiving mail server (POP3)" to "127.0.0.1 ", set "POP3 email account" to a Gmail account."@ Gmail.com".

Click "advanced". In the displayed window, set "POP3 server port" to "2000 ".

Now that all configurations are complete, you can use Foxmail to receive emails. After the author's test, the charging speed is very good!

2. Collect RSS resources of the Blog site

Most bloggers use FeeDdemon to read RSS links, but no additional software is required. As long as you have FreePOPs, you can use the mail client to accept RSS! For other settings, follow the previous instructions. The difference is that the following settings must be made in the "email server" tab of account attribute settings: set "POP3 email account""Xxx @ aggregator", Where xxx is the word you enter casually, such as user." password "is the URL of the RSS link, for example:Http://www.donews.net/rss.xml.

After setting up, you can receive RSS resources like emails.

Summary:Many plug-ins and software are available for sending and receiving Webmail that does not support POP3. However, it is rare to have full support such as FreePOPs. The key is stable usage and good speed. If you have emails such as Gmail, MSN, and Yahoo, you can use FreePOPs as your email client and get them through your local hard drive!
