At the end of the exam, the class teacher must analyze the students ' scores, and sometimes need to copy the total score higher but a course is weaker than the students all the results sent to the classroom teacher for targeted counseling. Similar work in the WPS table we can use the advanced filtering capabilities of the data to easily complete. As shown in Figure 1 for the exam results of a class, let's take this as an example.
Figure 1
List of scores not less than 400 points and mathematics class is not more than 85 points
Set filter criteria: in K1 and L1 cells, enter "total score" and "math" (consistent with the title text of the corresponding column in the previous score table, not limited in format), enter ">=400" in the K2 cell, and enter "L2" in the <=85 cell. As shown in Figure 2.
Figure 2
This setting means that the total score is not less than 400 points and the math class is not more than 85 points.
Click the menu command "data → filter → advanced filter" to open the Advanced Filter dialog box. Select the copy filter results to other single option, click the icon to the right of the list area entry box, and then select the area of the original score "sheet1! $A $ $H $" and click on the icon to return to the dialog box. The same method sets the criteria Range entry box to sheet1! $K $: $L $ ", and then enter the starting position of the filter results table in the" Copy to "entry box below," sheet1! $M $ "(These range of cells can also be entered manually), and then you can see the filtered results. As shown in Figure 3.

List of grades less than 85 points in math or English
This time it's just a different filter than the previous operation. So we just need to reset the filter criteria. In K1 and L1 cells, enter "math" and "English", enter "<85" in the K2 cell, and enter "L3" in the <85 cell. A relationship that represents "and" when a filter condition is on the same line, while a condition that does not go together indicates a relationship of OR.
In the Advanced Filter dialog box, the criteria range is set to sheet1! $K $ $L $. The filter results are shown in Figure 4.

In fact, understand that the peer condition means "and", the different line condition means "or" the relationship, then this seemingly troublesome problem is not complicated. Or you just need to reset the condition.
In K1, L1, M1 cell input "Total score", "Mathematics", "English" respectively. Enter ">400" in cell K2:k3, enter "<85" in the L2 cell, and enter "M3" in the <85 cell. After you set this up, the filter results are shown in Figure 5.

Advanced filtering is a very useful feature when profiling data in a WPS table. So you're also experiencing a similar score sheet analysis, so you might as well try advanced screening.
