Test parameter --

Trellis: 0, 1, 2. Execute trellis quantization to improve efficiency. 0. Disable; 1. Only enable the final code of one macro block; 2. Enable the code in all modes.

Refer to the test: trellis 0.

 

Default parameter --

X coordinate: transcoding speed (FPS ). Higher (right), better.

Y coordinate: dssim ). Higher, better.

Speed and bit rate of 2.6

 

Chart --

X coordinate: transcoding speed (FPS ). Higher (right), better.

Y coordinate: Bit Rate (Kbps ). The lower the value, the better.

Iii. Summary

 

Compared with trellis0, trellis1 improves the image quality and has little impact on transcoding speed. The only drawback is that the bit rate increases slightly.

Compared with trellis1, trellis2 saves bit rate and has similar image quality. However, the transcoding speed is greatly affected.

 

If subme is 10 or higher, the trellis2 parameter must be added as required.

If the subme value is 9 or lower, trellis1 is recommended.
