20-year review of all versions of Photoshop

Photoshop has become a part of every web designer's life, whether it's web design or data-processing, almost everywhere in the publishing industry or art school. This year, is the 20th year of Photoshop, let's review the development of Photoshop along the way.

1990–photoshop 1.0

Born in February 1990, the original version of PS is very similar to the "artboard" component of today's Windows system, offering only a few basic features: a palette, graphics scaling, brushes, erasers, and so on, and only the Mac platform is supported.

1991–photoshop 2.0

A year later, Adobe released a second edition with many newer tools, such as vector editing software illustrator files, CMYK colors, and pen tool (pen tool). The minimum memory requirement is increased from 2MB to 4MB, which has a significant impact on improving software stability.
