64-bit Windows 7 platform installation 32-bit timesten, configuring an ODBC data source

Problem:

Due to the system version, the client can only install the 32-bit timesten, but the client's platform is 64-bit win 7, after the installation is complete, follow the general Control Panel, management tools, The data Source (ODBC) open ODBC Data Source Manager does not have a timesten driver in it, 1.

Solution: Open the ODBC Administrator that loads the 32-bit driver

The Oracle database driver cannot be found in the traditional way because the platform is 64-bit, but the 32-bit Oracle database software is installed, and the regular ODBC manager does not load 32-bit drivers. By executing the C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe program you can open the ODBC Administrator that loads the 32-bit driver, as shown in 2.
