The previous chapter describes the overall logic architecture of EOMs. From now on, we will further analyze and design the BIS business information system and MIS Management Information System. This chapter focuses on the analysis and design of the BIS architecture and BISP architecture.
I. bis Architecture Design
The business activities of an enterprise must be based on different industries and the same industry. It is difficult to find out the common characteristics of business activities at the enterprise level. Because of this, we regard all the business activities of an enterprise as a general business activity, that is, the common business activities of the same industry or cross-industry enterprises and the unique business activities of the enterprise. There are also specific common activities in these business activities. We abstract this specific common activity into a platform for business information systems. Therefore, the BIS business information system consists of BISP, gbis, and SBIs, which cover all the business activities of the enterprise. What is different from the existing business information is:
1,Existing Business Information Systems are independent
Currently, most of the Business Systems in an enterprise are independent systems. That is to say, this system can accomplish a business goal independently. It has an independent database and complete business processingProgram. The advantage of this independence is that the system is less dependent. However, when an enterprise has more and more business systems, its data may lead to redundancy, and its functions may be duplicated. Upgrading becomes more and more difficult, and management becomes more and more complex, this eventually leads to confusion in the business system.
Based on a large number of business system design experiences, we believe that a system's functions are composed of two parts: public functions and special functions. Common functions are the functions of most systems. Special functions refer to the special functions of this system. We separated public functions from them to form a platform and called the unique functions a business system. (Retain the original name ).
The independent processing of platform functions from the business system can greatly reduce the repeated development of public functions, play the role of the platform, and enable the platform to serve more systems, give full play to the reusability of the platform, make the platform more dedicated, and make the platform easier to commercialize.
Because the platform is relatively unchanged, the business system lacks public functions, and the uniqueness of other services is more prominent, the system becomes more professional, the development cost can be greatly reduced, and the development time can be greatly reduced.
2,Existing business information systems are not universal and dedicated
Because the existing business systems are designed at the department level and the enterprise level, the same business varies with different enterprises and departments, resulting in an independent and different business system. This has led to repeated development because enterprises in the same industry use different business systems for the same business.
To solve the above problems, we only need to stand in the same industry and cross-industry level, and call the same business of different enterprises as general business, forming a general business information system. We call the unique business of an enterprise a special business, A dedicated business information system is formed.
As for how the general business information system solves the differences between different enterprises in terms of business processing, we will describe it in future chapters.
Ii. BISP Business Information System Platform Architecture Design
BISPIs a collection of common functions of business information systems. What are the common functions in the existing business system? How can we define the content of BISP.
First, we divided BISP into gbisp General Business Information System Platform and sbisp special business information system platform at the cross-industry level. We have already explained the reasons above, so we will not repeat them here.
1,GbispGeneral Business Information System Platform
Many people will say that there are any public functions in the same industry and across industries? First, we will give you a user login function. No matter what industry a user is logged on to, any enterprise that has a business system must have this function. Therefore, we can regard the user login function as a platform function. Let's look at another customer information function. No matter what industry, any enterprise must have a business system that involves customer information, whether it's buying raw materials or selling products or services, it's dealing with customers. Therefore, the customer information function can also be seen as a platform function.
GbispThe function of the Platform is to implement public functions in the business system, which is the main function. In addition, it also retains element information and provides the data source function for MIS.
So what is a general platform? Based on the practices of Enterprise Informatization in China and the EOM theory, as well as the requirements for business information systems to provide data for management information systems, we will first summarize some general business information system platforms for discussion.
1,Business System Portal Platform
2,Employee Operation Information Platform
3,Product Production Information Platform
4,Customer Information establishment Platform
5,Transaction Platform
6,Customer Account Platform
7,Accounting Platform
8,Data Transmission Platform
9,External interface Platform
Of course, there are still some platforms waiting for us to sort out and improve. This is why we want more people to join us.
2,Sbisp Dedicated Business Information System Platform
SbispThe private business information system platform is designed for enterprises to implement their unique business. It is related to specific enterprises and is a special platform system. It is set up to meet the special business requirements of enterprises. Of course, it serves this enterprise's SBIs specialized business information system. This platform exists only when this enterprise has multiple specialized business system information systems.
SbispIn combination with SBIs, You can implement enterprise-specific business functions.
