The concept of PTT (push to talk) business originated from the cluster communication technology. It was initially used on walkie talkie, and its user experience was simple and fast, and half duplex communication was adopted. PoC
That is, push to talk over cellular is a PTT service based on the cellular communication system. It can be quickly connected. It is faster than voice calls and can also form group communication, form a new business model, suitable for collaborative work and other application scenarios. Here, PTT and POC represent the same concept. Figure 7-8 shows a GPRS network-based PTT solution.

Brew-based qchat technology is an advanced wireless intercom service specially optimized for wireless networks (Figure 7-9), with fast connection speed (call establishment latency less than one second) features such as rich functions (multiple call methods), flexible networking (pure IP applications superimposed on the pdsn Network), and simple networking (only one set is needed nationwide, combining the IMS service engine with common group management and integrated database technology will become the unique killer of operators. Brew-based qchat technology can achieve interoperability with other networks, such as interconnection with professional iden and other cluster networks.

As the main system integrator, Alibaba Bell Shanghai successfully opened the world's first high-performance one-click qchat service for Sprint-Nextel.
PTT application. It innovatively introduced the IMS platform and transformed the hss/GLMS platform, successfully solving a series of complex technology and integration problems. Since its launch in the United States in April 2008, The qchat trial operation network has been opened in four cities. Currently, its business covers about 46 cities, with nearly 0.1 million users. This qchat system built by Sprint-Nextel includes a core network, which is stored in two data centers in the form of local disaster recovery and backup. Qchat-based one-click business (Table 7-1), so that sprint does not need to deploy a new network, can make full use of existing investment, combined with other mobile value-added business, bind one-to-multiple group calling and Status display (that is, you can know whether the other party is online) and other special features to integrate with IMS multimedia applications to create bundled business experiences.
The PTT Service Based on qchat technology supports a wide range of call types. It is a highlight of 3G basic voice services for individual consumption and industrial applications. In the future, we will also be able to support multimedia one-click access, and push images and videos to the recipient's mobile terminal during the call process, making communication more diverse.

Table 7-1: qchatSolution Key parameters
Brew-based qchat includes multiple call types, including:
(1) One-to-one
(2) create a group call group on your mobile phone. You can add a group call group to a new user from the first to the first; you can also add a pre-defined group to a temporary group call. You can set the group name and broadcast it to each participant during the call.
(3) predefined group calls: defined by the system; up to 2000 users; support simultaneous calls of multiple groups under a single base station in a single sector; Support for bcmcs.
(4) chat room: for special pre-defined group calls, participants must select and join the chat room to participate.
Qchat supports nationwide and global roaming; it supports verifying the called state and then connecting; if the called state is not reachable, you can send a reminder to the initiator after the called State and invitation mode, the called party receives the invitation notification and selects whether to add the call restriction: ICB and OCB; adds new members; sends the arbitration; Group calls can be set to a level 7 priority, the highest priority can be forced into two terminal addressing methods such as abc@123.com and 18988888888; user authentication; legal listening; OTA download, configurable terminal, speaker can be closed, improve privacy; there is a blacklist and whitelist on the mobile phone terminal. You can select the groups that can be connected and the list of groups that are automatically rejected.
