Mobile phone users can be divided into many types, from price-sensitive individual users with cheap mobile phones to enterprise users with high-end mobile phones, from the use of prepaid mobile phones for young trendy entertainment users to international roaming users with high monthly expenses, there is no difference. Brew mobile phones can meet various needs of all these users.
Brew's core function is "wireless data download", which enables mobile phones to download complex programs and applications from mobile networks. Therefore, brew-based value-added mobile services are the most relevant to users. Through BREW application manager (brew appmanger & mobileshop, BAM), you can dynamically search for and discover applications, download, use, and manage these applications. The features of BREW application manager are as follows:

Application Manager is an application written using the brew SDK. You can use this as a starting point to browse and run the applications available on mobile devices. It has a simple graphic user interface that displays all brew-based mobile value-added services on the current mobile phone.
The application manager provides a set of small icons (soft key menu items) at the bottom of the mobile phone screen. Each icon corresponds to a specific application. When the cursor (Focus) is placed on a soft key, the mobile phone's main screen will display a large image of the corresponding application. One of the soft key menus is the "Settings" menu, which is used to control the Application Manager to display the browsing order of the application. By default, the display order of the application in the main menu is the order in which the aee layer reads the corresponding MIF files. However, you can use the application manager to change the display sequence, move the application to another folder, or change the display mode of the Main Menu view. For example, if you want Hello world to be the first application to be displayed, you can use the "Settings" menu to set it. The configuration information is saved in the config.txt data file under the Application Manager directory.
According to their respective characteristics and market objectives, operators can launch brew-based brand services to achieve differentiated competition and customize BREW application managers of different versions. For example, china Unicom's "magic book" service, KTF's "Magic n pack" service, verison Wireless's "get it now" service, and so on. However, the methods used by the end users to use the corresponding mobile value-added services through the Application Manager are similar.
