Wireless networks are increasingly used in office and home environments. Without wiring, users can connect to the network anytime and anywhere, which brings great convenience to our work and life. The following describes some common methods to help you quickly configure wireless networks and enjoy the joy of wireless Internet access.
1. Achieve connection sharing through Wireless Networks
Currently, two laptops A and B are installed on Windows. Notebook A has A built-in wireless network card and Ethernet Card, and notebook B has A built-in wireless network card. Now, notebook A is used as the proxy server, realize the LAN connection of notebook B.
Enable Internet Connection Sharing on the ethernet card of notebook ". Open the network connection window of A, right-click the Ethernet connection, select the "properties" option, and select the "advanced" tab in The Connection Properties dialog box, select the "allow other network users to connect to the computer through the Internet" check box. For notebook B, set its wireless connection to a local network connection. Finally, you can share the network connection of A and B by setting the wireless network adapter to A peer-to-peer wireless network connection.
2. Shared GPRS internet access
There are two laptops A and B, and notebook A uses GPRS to access the Internet. Now, A and B are interconnected to share B's Internet connection.
First, you can connect notebook A and notebook B in two ways: wired and wireless. If both of the laptops have the intel? 2 feature, you can connect the two machines wirelessly. Otherwise, you can connect to a VPC through a network cable. Then, use notebook A as the ICS host and notebook B as the client to achieve GPRS sharing.
3. Internet Connection Sharing through Wireless AP
There is an existing ADSL Modem with the routing function, and you want to use Wireless AP for Internet sharing.
Because ADSL Modem has the routing function, Wireless AP with the routing function is no longer required. It should be noted that the routing function of the ADSL Modem is poor and has limited functions. It is only applicable to sharing small networks and simple Internet connections. Therefore, we recommend that you purchase a Wireless AP with the routing function, because it is similar to the price of ADSL Modem, but the performance is much better.
