In May January, I installed Windows 7 Beta on my laptop (integrated with Intel 965 graphics card), but I found a very serious problem. In some real interfaces, A video card driver error occurs. Once an error occurs, aero will become invalid, but Windows 7 will immediately be able to recover the driver. This problem has actually been encountered in Vista, but with the official HP driver installed, there is no problem. Unfortunately, the official driver on Windows 7 is unavailable. If an error occurs after the driver is restored, the system displays a blue screen.
In Windows 7 beta, the 1.1 preview driver is prone to errors, but you can switch to 1.0 manually. However, Windows 7 RC has just been installed a few days ago, and this problem occurs frequently. It is a headache to find that the driver is only 1.1 on Windows 7 RC and cannot switch to 1.0.
However, I have found a solution to download the driver provided by Intel. Although this driver is for Vista, it can be installed in Windows 7 RC; unlike the official HP driver, Windows 7 cannot be installed.
The driver version of Intel is one of the main versions lower than that of Windows 7 RC drivers. The version is 7.15.10.1666, as shown below:
