Completely solve the MMS problem of Apple iPhone

Apple iPhone is a good thing, but its disadvantage is that SMS does not support mms. Now I have completely solved this problem.

First, install the swirlymms software. Now it is version 0.38. For later versions of Apple (1.1.3 and 1.1.4), you must modify the permissions of some directories and files.

• Chown-r root: wheel/applications/swirlymms. app
• Chmod 777/applications/swirlymms. APP/swirlymms
• Chmod + S/applications/swirlymms. APP/swirlymms

However, this is not the main issue. If swirlymms is started, it will exit very quickly. The problem may be that libgcc_s.1.dylib, the file is damaged or the directory is incorrect. At least on my iPhone, I found that I had created an additional layer of directory arm-apple-Darwin, that is
/Usr/local/ARM-apple-Darwin/lib/libgcc_s.1.dylib

Actually it should be:/usr/local/ARM-apple-Darwin/libgcc_s.1.dylib (and I copied a correct libgcc_s.1.dylib)

After swirlymms is started successfully, the problem persists. You need to set the parameters. This is also easy, that is, to set the following three parameters:

• Mmsc: mmsc. monternet.com
• Proxy:10.0.0.172
• APN:Cmwap

The MMS can be received but cannot be read, so it is too early to be happy. Because the software swirlymms is not ready yet, it can only be sent and received and cannot be read. Result we can solve this problem by installing three Google software on the Internet:

• Google lelefinder
• Google mobiletextedit (read text)
• Google mobilepreview (image viewing)

Browse through Google mobilefinderMMS files under/private/var/mobile/Media/mmsfiles (put the files and images received by MMS here), becauseGoogle mobilefinder and the other twoProgramTherefore, you can browse MMS images and files. It seems that this is a success, but the problem has not yet been solved, because Google's support for the iPhone is getting smaller and smaller (to launch its own gphone), and the above three files are only half done, so there is no progress, therefore, mobiletextedit does not support Chinese characters !!

You must also find a solution for reading Chinese MMs. It is not difficult for me to solve this problem. You can use another software to implement eBooks 1.4. the remaining method is to automatically send the MMS content to a specific directory of the e-book. This reminds me of a Unix Command ln. the problem is solved:

• Delete first/Private/var/mobile/Media/mmsfiles
• In ~ Create a directory under the/Media/eBooks directory, such as MMS, to store MMS
• Then create a virtual link:Ln-S ~ /Media/eBooks/MMS /Private/var/mobile/Media/mmsfiles
