Create a Microsoft Azure virtual machine (Windows-based)

In Microsoft's Microsoft Azure cloud Platform, Azure VMs is a scalable, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platform that you can use to quickly configure and deploy server workloads in the cloud. As a result, you can understand Microsoft Azure as a pool of virtualized resources made up of countless hardware servers, where you can build and deploy your own servers without having to pay for hardware purchases. You can offer a wide range of services worldwide, simply by paying for your price list. Once the deployment is complete, you can configure, manage, and monitor these virtual machines to configure load balancing of traffic between them and connect them to other Microsoft Azure cloud services running WEB roles and worker roles. Of course, as a user who has already applied virtualization in your on-premises environment, you can copy the virtual hard disk (VHD) from your on-premises environment to Microsoft Azure as a template for creating a new virtual machine. And you can copy the VHDs from Microsoft Azure and run them in your own managed local data center.

The Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine service is flexible enough that you can create a new virtual machine from a standard image in the Microsoft Azure Library. A standard image is included for the current version of Windows Server and for different Linux distributions. Standard images can also be used to pre-install enterprise-class workloads such as Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft BizTalk Server on Windows Server. A standard image is a great way to quickly configure a new virtual machine, or you can deploy a new virtual machine using an image created locally.

As an IT administrator, you have complete control over any virtual machines deployed in the Microsoft Azure cloud. You can use Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) or Windows PowerShell to remotely administer a virtual machine that is running Windows Server. Virtual machines that run Linux operating systems can be remotely managed using Secure Shell (SSH). You can create data disks and attach them to virtual machines to store application data, which makes it easier to migrate your business applications to the cloud. Additional processor cores can be assigned to virtual machines to optimize performance when running large workloads.

Virtual machine instances created in Microsoft Azure are not lost during a hardware failure and can be self-healing. This means that any new data created by the virtual machine will not be deleted when the VM is restarted. This is because the virtual disks that support your virtual machines are stored in your Microsoft Azure storage account. Any data disks that you attach to the virtual machine are also durable and are supported by Microsoft Azure Storage blobs. In contrast, PAAs web role and worker role instances can also be self-repairing, but the modifications and new data created after deployment are not persistent (in certain cases the instance may be reset and restored to the state of the deployment).

The preconfigured templates available in the Microsoft Azure Virtual Library reduce the threshold for operating system installation deployments and dramatically reduce the time to launch business applications. By using Microsoft Azure, both IT pros and ordinary business users can build new Windows Server and Linux virtual machines in minutes and adjust usage as needed. Unlike traditional server-hosted or Internet-based data center models, Microsoft Azure provides quick configuration options on the management portal, allowing you to expand the virtual machine's resources with a mouse click without waiting for the hardware to be upgraded.

With the Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine service, you can create and run some common virtual servers with just a few clicks of the mouse, such as Windows Server and Linux servers that are suitable for running various business applications, already configured Microsoft SQL The server database server, and the Microsoft SharePoint Enterprise Collaboration portal.

Because my Chinese version of Azure account has expired, I can't use Azure in China as a demonstration, and this is the demo platform using international Azure version.
