Deploying Windows Server 2008 DNS

Test environment:

Windows Server 2003 test verifies the deployed DNS

Test Purpose:

Build DNS, and build various services on the DNS server; Verify the deployed DNS through Windows Server 2003来.

Deployment process:

When deploying DNS, we first know the rationale and benefits of the DNS service; The main task of DNS is to perform various domain name resolution, which is convenient for us to manage.

1, first look at computer computing name

2, configure the DNS IP address. (the necessary conditions for configuring DNS are not explained).

3. Then we install the DNS service through the command line mode, and enter "Servermanagecmd.exe–query" at the command line; we can also install a variety of services through the Service manager; Figure:

4, and then we see if the DNS service is installed, as shown in the figure:

5, check the DNS is not installed, such as the diagram for the installation of the DNS service under the command line; then we'll just wait for the installation to finish. (The various services under Windows Server 2008 can be installed under commands), as shown in the figure:
