Log on to Linux with the root account
1. Stop the background resident program of the NetBackup/Media Manager:
/Usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/bp. kill_all
2. Run the following command to log out of the master configuration of VxUL. The configuration is stored in the/etc/vx/vrtslog. conf file.
/Usr/openv/netbackup/bin/vxlogcfg-r-p 51216
-P option can specify the product ID, and the product ID of NetBackup is 51216.
3. Run the following command to delete the master database (delete the master database even if it is no longer in the default location ):
/Usr/openv/db/bin/create_nbdb-drop_only
4. Delete the reference to the NetBackup/Media Manager from the/etc/services and [x] inetd configuration files and run the edit_services script:
/Usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/edit_services
5. Delete the/usr/openv directory.
Rm-rf/usr/openv
6. Cancel auto-start
/Sbin/chkconfig-del netbackup
Delete the following files (the last one is the file, and the first few are links)
/Etc/rc. d/rc2.d/S77netbackup
/Etc/rc. d/rc3.d/S77netbackup
/Etc/rc. d/rc5.d/S77netbackup
/Etc/rc. d/rc6.d/K01netbackup
/Etc/rc. d/rc0.d/K01netbackup
/Etc/rc. d/init. d/netbackup
7. Run the following command to delete the status data of the root account's master applications:
/Bin/rm-rf/. nbjava
/Bin/rm-rf/. java/. userPrefs/vrts
Rm-rf/root. java/. userPrefs // vrts/common
8. If the rpm package with ICS installed is directly uninstalled with the rpm-e package name
