Start of Microsoft Windows Vista and Server 2008, including local IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6), which is enabled by default. IPv6 is the new computer address protocol that will eventually replace the most popular standard in IPv4. Unless you are not an IPv6 network, you can disable IPv6 securely. Different from other protocols, you cannot disable IPv6 by disabling each protocol of the network interface. It is still enabled and may cause application problems.Program. To disable IPv6, use the correct registry method.
First, click the start button and type regedit and press Enter.
Then, browse HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, system, CurrentControlSet, services, tcpip6, parameters. Right-click the parameter, select new, and select the DWORD (32-bit) value. The new value is disabledcomponents and press Enter. Right-click the new value "disabledcomponents" and select modify. Set the disabledcomponents value to ff, and then click OK
