O & O Defrag is a disk tool designed for NT/2000/XP. It can be used in workstation, server, Advanced Server, and other versions and supports almost all file systems, including FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, NTFS5, FS (Encrypted File System) and so on, is a rare good tool. You can set the time to automatically refresh the hard disk and support long Chinese file names.
O & O Defrag Professional Edition supports the following operating systems:
+ Windows NT 4.0 Workstation (SP6 or above)
+ Windows 2000 Professional
+ Windows XP Home Edition
+ Windows XP Professional Edition
Personal notes:
I have also used several other well-known disk fragment tools, such as PerfectDisk, Diskeeper, but still like O & O Defrag.
I feel that O & O Defrag is the most effective and powerful. It can be sorted regularly.
O & O Defrag provides five sorting methods:
1. The background is quietly carried out
2. sort by Space
3. Complete sorting by file name
4. Complete sorting by file modification date
5. Complete sorting by File Access Frequency
If you only want to speed up, you can complete the sorting by space or file name. I usually complete the sorting by File Access frequency. This is more conducive to future use.
In addition, O & O Defrag has a user-friendly feature: file -- option -- Adjustment (or open options directly in the toolbar)
This function allows you to adjust the resource usage during fragment based on your individual needs. This is definitely a very useful function for High-configuration computers. You can splice fragments and share videos with your girlfriend ~ Ha ~~~ If the computer configuration is normal, I suggest you still make a solid choice: use all resources for fragment!
Remember to click "application" and "OK" after selection !!! Remember!
Experience in using sperm whale:
After the program is installed, a random process is automatically started in the Resource Manager: oodag.exe I am a person who likes to save system resources. I usually disable this process. It needs to be opened again when the fragments need to be sorted out. After all, the fragmentation is not performed every day. It is a waste of resources to start the process every time you start the system.
Disable method: Right-click my computer -- manage -- services and applications -- services -- O & O Defrag (set to manual, why am I not set to disabled here, because it is more convenient to enable it later if it is set to manual .)
In this way, there will be no such process in the resource manager when the system starts up, but remember to open the O & O Defrag service in the system service next time you want to organize the fragments. Otherwise, it cannot be used.
Installation Method:
First install the original version, and then install the Chinese patch. If you want to use it for a long time, you need to register it with the address of the registration machine.
