Today, I want to test the mobileviewer of aims2013 on the iPad. It is found that IIS on local win7 is always inaccessible remotely. Paste the solution here for future reference.
1. First, add rules for the Windows 7 firewall to allow external access to port 80 of the local machine.
Start-control panel-Windows Firewall, select Advanced Settings loan firewall advanced settings from the left, select inbound rules on the left, and click New rule... To add new rules.
By default, IIS uses port 80 to provide services. Add inboud rule for port 80 here.
Rule type: Port
Protocals and Prots: TCP, sepecific local prort: 80
Action: allow the connection
Profile: select all
Name: name, for example, http80
In this way, port 80 is enabled for the local machine, and the remote computer can connect to the local machine through TCP port 80.
However, during the test, the Remote Computer Browser entered http: // <my IP> and returned the HTTP 404 error. Check the IIS settings carefully. It turns out that the site bindings of IIS has a problem:
Start -- run -- inetmgr open IIS manager, select default web site, and select bindings... Open the site bindings dialog box, and click Add to add the binding. Add HTTP binding, select all IP addresses not allocated, port 80, hostname is empty.
Since then, access from the external computer to the local IIS is normal.
