English Windows XP Chinese support settings

In Windows XP, Microsoft not only provides simplified and traditional Chinese character libraries, but also supports input methods. If you want to enable the English version of Windows XP to support Chinese, you can refer to the following settings (take the English version of Windows XP Professional as an example, Windows XP Home Edition settings are similar ).

1. Open Control Panel and double-click regional and language options to open the region and language settings window;

2. In the region and language settings window, select the language tab and check the "Install files for East Asian languages" option;

3. The system prompts that a space of about MB is required. Select OK and follow the prompts. After the operation is successful, return to the regional Options page;

4. select "Chinese (PRC)" in the "standards and formats" drop-down box on the "Regional options" tab to use the Chinese format, and select "China" in the "location" drop-down box ", indicates that the current region is China;

5. on the "language" tab, click the "details" button and select "Chinese (PRC)-Chinese (simplified)-US keyboard" in the "default input language" drop-down box of "Settings ", click "add" in "Install Serivces" to add a Chinese input method.
