1. Supported coexistence Solutions 

The following table lists some application scenarios that support coexistence between Exchange 2016 and earlier versions.

Exchange 2013 cumulative updates 10 or later on all Exchange 2013 servers (including edge transport servers) in the Organization.

2. Supported hybrid deployment Solutions

Exchange 2016 supports hybrid deployment of Office 365 tenants that have been upgraded to the latest version of Office 365;

IPv6 support	In Exchange 2016, IPv6 is supported only when IPv4 is installed and enabled. If Exchange 2016 is deployed in this configuration and the network supports IPv4 and IPv6, all Exchange servers can send and receive data on devices, servers, and clients that use IPv6 addresses.

Iii. Directory Server Architecture

Using a 64-bit Active Directory domain controller can improve the Directory service performance of Exchange 2016.

Note: If you set the Active Directory language region to a Windows Server 2008 Domain Controller in Japanese in a multi-domain environment, the Server may not receive certain properties stored on the object during inbound replication;

For security and performance considerations, we recommend that you only install Exchange 2016 on the member server instead of the Active Directory Server. However, you cannot run DCPromo on a computer that runs Exchange 2016. After installing Exchange 2016, you cannot change its role from a member server to a directory server, and vice versa;

Page file size	If a 32 gb ram is used, the minimum and maximum page file sizes must be set to physical RAM plus 10 MB, and the maximum value is 32778 MB (32 GB ).
Disk Space	At least 30 GB of available disk space is required on the drive where Exchange is installed For each uniform messaging (UM) Language Pack you want to install, an additional MB of available disk space is required. Note: you cannot install Exchange 2016 on a computer running Windows Server Core or Nano Server. You must install the Windows Server desktop experience function. To install Exchange 2016, Perform one of the following operations to install the desktop on Windows Server before starting the Exchange 2016 installation program:
