Using the round function to eliminate the calculation error of Excel. In fact, Excel produces this kind of calculation error because we see in the cell the display value is different from the actual value caused by the figure shows the difference between the display value and the actual value, when the calculation is calculated with the actual value, not the display value. With this in view, we can avoid computational errors by setting up Excel to display values for calculation. Set the method as follows:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. Click the Recalculation tab, and then click to select the 97/2000/2002 to display value (Excel) or the show precision as (Excel 2003) check box. Click the (OK) button.
Excel then calculates the display value, thus eliminating the error at the time of calculation. This method is in fact similar to the one in which Excel also "cheated", but the method described by the author is simpler.
