ArcGIS uses Clip to crop images:
 
1. Create a polygon file and edit a polygon based on the areas of interest of the image;
2. Double-click to open ArcToolbox-Data Management Tools-Raster Properties-Clip and set it in the pop-up dialog box:
Add an image to Input Raster, open the polygon file we just prepared in Output Extent, select the location where the cut image is stored in Output Raster Dataset, and click OK to complete the operation.
 
 
ArcGIS uses Mask to crop images:
 
1. Create a polygon file and edit a polygon based on the areas of interest of the image;
2. Double-click ArcToolbox-Spatial Analysis Tools-Extraction-Extract by Mask and set it in the pop-up dialog box:
Add an image in Input Raster, Input Raster or feature mask data
