Although HostUS has not been established for several years, it has been a tough task in the past year, especially for users in the Chinese market. Since the launch of the SL line Hong Kong and Singapore machine rooms, although the line is not available recently, they have continued to work. HostUS adds a KVM architecture environment and supports Windows2008/2012 systems (requires 2 GB of memory), because many netizens use remote desktop environments instead of website construction.
HostUS has recently added Alipay and credit card payment methods. Although their product performance and speed are not particularly satisfactory, the product price is acceptable to some extent. In this article, old Zuo is going to install the Windows system on the KVM architecture machine tested a few days ago, because it is a waste of time and expiration for a month.
1. Set the Win system and startup mode on the HostUS panel
We log on to the current HostUS KVM account background, set in Setting as shown in the figure above, will OS Select Windows system version, Boot mode CD-ROM, and finally save.
2. Restart the server
We need to restart the system after setting the startup mode. As shown in the figure above, restarting the machine will take effect.
3. Mount Windows with HostUS KVM
Here we need to mount the Windows system, which is 2008/2012 optional. Choose the Windwos system from the CD-ROM/ISO menu and click the Mount button. (It takes 2 GB of memory or above to install the Win system on HostUS KVM. If it is not easy to install, this is too much)
4. Install Windows
After mounting, we need to restart the system again. After restarting, follow the steps shown in the following figure to go to the remote desktop to install the system. This process has always been installed in many stages, but it is nothing more than a visual Windows system installation process.
Then we can see the visual interface.
The following problems should be noted: Select the driver, delete the drive letter, and re-format the partition. If it is not possible to continue the installation.
Fifth, after installation, recover the hard disk boot mode
After the installation is complete, we need to restore the HDD hard drive boot mode. Otherwise, we need to reinstall the hard drive every time we restart and log on remotely. After setting, we can restart the system to take effect.
In summary, although the HostUS KVM environment supports the installation of Windows, the default installation method in the panel must start with 2 GB of memory, which is a little expensive and the price is quite high; to save costs, we can only install the SDK in DD mode.
