Problem: When you perform step 3), enter \ \ is monitored machine ip\c$, there is no way to access the monitored system as administrator (if you use LR to monitor it, you will be prompted: "No network path found"), the phenomenon is that the user name input box is gray, And the default user is guest.

Workaround: This is a security policy setting issue (Security options, network access: Local account sharing and security mode, administrative tools, local security policy, and so on). By default, XP is accessed by the "Guest only" way, if you access it, of course, fixed for guest access, and the Guest account does not have the right to monitor, so to change the access to "classic" mode, so that you can be logged in as Administrator. After the modification, perform step 3 again, enter the administrator user name and password to access the monitored machine C drive.

If this is not possible (possibly due to other problems), then you have to take another approach. On the server's machine, the server's CPU, memory, disk and other counters can be monitored by adding a new monitoring log (management tool-) performance log and alarm in the counter log under "Performance Logs and Alerts" in Windows. Of course, this method is not monitored with LR.

2. Steps to monitor windows with LR

In the controller, the Windows Resources window right-clicks the mouse to select Add measurements, adds the IP address of the monitored windows, selects the owning system, and then selects the metrics that need to be monitored to start monitoring.
