The DV2 series of Vm,cpu, ram and local temporary SSD disk space is the same as the D series. As follows:
The DV2 series of VMS, compared to the D-series, is mainly on the CPU.
The DV2 series of CPUs, the model is the Intel Xeon e5-2673 V3 (Haswell architecture ), the default frequency is 2.4G.
At the same time, using the Interl Turbo Boost Technology (turbo-boost technology), the highest frequency can reach 3.2G.
The CPUs of the DV2 series VMs (Intel Xeon e5-2673 V3) are faster e5-2660 than the CPUs of the D-series VMs (Interl Xeon 35%).
For scenarios with higher performance CPU computing, it is recommended that you use Azure D-series VMS, or DV2 series VMs.
The following are the results of the SUPERPI 1 million calculations for the D-series VMs (CPU Intel Xeon e5-2660):
17.78 seconds
The following are the Superpi 1 million calculations for the DV2 series VMS (CPU Intel Xeon e5-2670 V3):
14.36 seconds
