Photoshop makes vivid font shadow effects

It took me quite a long time to think about how to make an incredibly realistic shadow in design. I decided to try it this weekend.

I began to think about what I could call the best way, and too much work was going to be done again. So I decided to try Photoshop's 3D feature.

This is the simplest and quickest way. The effect is also very good.

So in this tutorial I will show you how to make a design with a beautiful and vivid shadow using the 3D feature of Photoshop CC.

It's a very simple process, and you can do it in less than 1 hours.

Method/Step:

1

Open Photoshop, create a new document, and set the size to 2880x1800 pixels. Then write some letters or text that you want to apply a shadow to. Here is the "Abdz" written in "Futura Medium" font.

2

Executes 3d> creates a new 3D model from the selected layer. Then, select the 3D layer. Select the model layer in the 3D panel and start editing the properties. The network attribute parameters are shown in the diagram.

3

Select the Warp property panel to set the extrude depth parameter to 300. You can use the current view to rotate the object.

4

Select "Lid" property, oblique width is set to 100%, angle set to 45 °, contour selection cone-reversal, expansion angle is also set to 45 °.

5

Select "Infinite Light" and rotate it slightly. In the property panel, the strength is set to 1000%, and the softness is set to 75%. Then, perform 3d> rendering.

6

After waiting a moment, you will get the effect as shown in the picture. If you are not satisfied with this effect, you can change the model and lighting settings. Also, make sure the object is right on the ground.

7

Add a layer below all other layers and fill the texture. I've got one from the subtlepatterns.com website.

8

Add more elements to fill the canvas and create a nice synthesis.

9

Import a piece of paper texture. I'm using an old newspaper texture that I've searched for from Google pictures.

10

Lightens the blending mode change of the texture layer, opacity 50%

11

Conclusion

Select all layers, and then merge the layers. Change the blending mode of the composite layer to a positive overlay so that your creation is complete. Photoshop CC has made quite a lot of improvements to 3D functionality,

If you want to make the font of this effect, this is a quick method. Now you know the tutorials, good luck.
