In this series, you will learn how to make an ice-point poster with a perfect combination of font and background, and it's not so difficult to use fonts and images in combination.

Step 1
Open Photoshop, create a 600x 848 pixel file, and then load the background footage and refer to the following figure to resize, if the material is not enough to cover the entire file, you can copy the background footage.
To better integrate two layers, you can add a layer mask and make a gradient effect, so that one of the layers becomes translucent and perfect.
Step 2
Next, turn the background color deep: first, reduce the saturation, (Layer > New adjustment layer > Hue/saturation), and the saturation to 100, so the background turns gray.
Then create a brightness/adjustment layer, set the brightness to-111, contrast to +36, and get the following effect:
Step 3
Enter the white text "Ice Ice Ice" with a large, coarse font, set the opacity of the type layer to 13%, and then add the layer style:
Step 4
Create a new layer, use a large and soft brush (size 180px), refer to the following figure to create a blue halo (#34d1f8), and then set the opacity to 38%
Step 5
Load cloud footage, resize and angle, then reduce saturation and set layer blending mode to strong light, opacity 50%, use layer mask to erase areas you don't want
(Layers > Add layer Masks > Hide all, use a soft white brush to reproduce the clouds)
Step 6
Load ice material, they need to recolor through hue/saturation (hue 191, saturation 32)
Step 7
Create 3d Text "Ice Ice", there are a lot of software can do this, such as Xara, and then load it into PS, load the snow material, put it on top of the type layer, and then hold down CTRL click on the text,
form a text selection, then reverse-select, and then grid the text layer and delete, which adds a snow-chip texture to the 3d text. If you want to be more convenient, you can also click here to download my 3d fonts directly.
