Speed up Remote Desktop Connection

Because the company is in the education network, access to the company's servers at home through ADSL is very slow, but the remote desktop program does not provide a place to set up proxy servers, in this case, we can use a third-party proxy tool to solve the problem of using proxy for Remote Desktop. Proxy can improve the connection speed of remote control, and can also remotely control the server when the IP address is filtered.

The remote desktop program can only use the Socks proxy. We can download the Sockscap32 proxy program and add the terminal connection program to the proxy list. The specific method is as follows:

Step 1: Download Socksacp32 and install it. Start Sockscap32 and click "NEW" on the main interface.

Step 2: enter a Name at the Profile Name and click the browse button on the right to find the remote desktop program. The path of the Remote Desktop Connection Program on my computer is C: \ Windows \ System32 \ mstsc.exe. After selecting the program, click "OK" to complete the program settings (see figure ).

Step 3: Go to "File → Setting" on the main interface, and fill in the proxy Server address and port number you want to use in "Server" in the "Sockscap Setting" window.

After the settings, if our proxy server works properly, you can use the proxy set in Sockscap32 to connect to the company server through the terminal connection program, thus accelerating server access. The operation is no different from direct access, and the entered server address does not need to be modified. Sockscap32 will automatically perform proxy work for you.
