Stuff () function

Replace a part of a string with another string.

Syntax

Stuff (original string, starting position of replacement, number of characters to be replaced, used to replace the string)

Return Value Type

Parameter description

Original string: some of them will be replaced. (Interpretation seems more difficult than being explained)

Position of start replacement: Specify the starting character of the original string.

Number of characters to be replaced: specifies the number of consecutive characters from the start to be replaced.

 

Run:

Select stuff ('abcdef', 2, 3, 'ghijklmn ')
