Visual Studio always shows you are preparing a solution

To restart the computer first, do the following steps without resolving the situation:

2. Kill Visual Studio
4. Open Visual Studio without loading a solution
6. Disable ankhsvn as Source Control plugin (tools->options->source control->plug-in selection->none)
8. Disable "Document Well Plus" (VS2010) or "Custom Document Well" (VS2012) in Productivity Power Tools (tools->optio Ns->productivity Power Tools)- I read that somewhere and it might has helped as well ...
10. Close Visual Studio
12. Delete the solution ' s *.suo file. This was located in the same folder as the solution itself. Note: You'll lose several settings for your solution, like currently opened files, breakpoints, bookmarks, current solution Co Nfiguration & Platform (e.g. Debug x86) etc.
14. Restart Visual Studio
16. Load the solution-it was much faster now!
18. Close Visual Studio
20. Open Visual Studio without loading a solution
22. Re-enable ANKHSVN and the "Document well"
24. Restart Visual Studio
26. Open the solution-it is still loaded in seconds!
