What about DNS

In the past, I was familiar with this problem. I could just learn about this failure.

DNS name resolution, which is called inaccurate domain name resolution.

Workflow: DNS Client-> hosts file-> DNS servers on the Internet-> website.

Enter the website in the browser and press Enter. The request will be sent to a DNS server. If the DNS server is configured in the TCP/IP protocol of the computer, the request will be sent to the DNS server according to the settings.

The DNS client will be sent to the DNS server after Ping and enter the URL in the browser.

 

Request process: the browser sends a recursive query request mail.sohu.com to the DNS server, that is, no matter whether the query is found or not found, it must provide feedback. If the DNS server does not know, then, an iterative query request is sent to other DNS servers. For example, if you query 13 root servers, an iteration query request is returned. the IP address of the top-level DNS server of COM. Then, query the host, and return the IP address of the DNS server that knows the sohu.com address. Then, check the host to find mail.sohu.com.

 

The NSLookup command allows you to connect to the DNS server on your cmd client, and then resolve other domain names.

Reverse query: Send the IP address to the DNS server to obtain the machine name.
