Windows 2003 Server password recovery

The system administrator of the holding company modified the login password for the Windows 2003 Server Standard Super Administrator, but forgot the new password.

Recovery process:

1. Start the server with a DOS system that can be viewed in NTFS format, and copy the Sam files in the C:/window/repair folder to the C:/windows/system32/config folder. The order is as follows:

CD C:/window/repair

Copy Sam C:/windows/system32/config

2. Restart the computer, the password will revert to the initial installation of the system with the password.
