When we plug a mobile storage device such as USB into a computer host, the system usually pops up a dialog box asking the user to select an item (by default, the system is "open folder to view files" as a preference, as shown in Figure 1). Now, some Windows7 users may find that when you insert a brand new USB Removable Storage device, the system prompts the device to function properly and does not appear to be familiar with the AutoPlay window. What is the cause of this?
Do not think that this is a USB device problem, or the WINDOWS7 system has a bug. This is actually due to the system default settings, we first solve this "not a problem", and finally tell you the reason for this situation.
Under Windows7 Explorer (or any open folder), press the ALT key (if your system is not set to force the toolbar to be displayed, you need to press this button), select "Tools → Folder Options" from the menu that pops up.
Then, in the Open Folder Options dialog box, switch to the View tab, pull the right slider (to the middle position), and cancel the Windows7 system default check "hide the empty drive in the computer folder."
After the modification, click "OK" button, save the settings exit.
From the solution to see, presumably already have netizens know, this is not the WINDOW7 can not automatically play some USB devices, but because the Windows7 to some empty USB devices by default is only recognized, not run. If the user wants to ask why Windows7 to do this default setting, this is really "not a problem".
