Windows 7 virtual wireless network adapter (microserof virtual wifi miniport adapter) Function

By using this method, you can connect a mobile device (iphone, ipad, or mobile phone) to the Internet through a wireless network card of a laptop.
Microserof virtual wifi miniport adapter is a new feature of Windows 7, which is called virtual wifi.
The virtual Wifi function in Windows 7 can Virtualize a network card based on a wireless network card, so that the AP function of the wireless router can be realized, and wireless devices can share the Internet through laptops.
The following describes how to enable virtual wifi.
Steps:
1. Run Command Prompt as an administrator (START-all programs-attachment-command prompt, right-click, and select [run as Administrator])
2. Set and start "virtual Wifi network card"
Run the following command in a command prompt:
Netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow
Netsh wlan set hostednetwork ssid = DEMO_AP
Netsh wlan set hostednetwork key = PASSWORD keyusage = persistent
This command has three parameters:
Mode: whether to enable the virtual Wi-Fi network card. If it is set to disallow, the virtual network card will disappear.
Ssid: Set the name of the wireless network, both Chinese and English. However, we recommend that you use English because some mobile devices do not recognize Chinese characters.
Key: Set the password for the wireless network. This password is used to encrypt WPA2 for wireless networks.
Keyusage: Specifies whether the password is valid for a long term or temporary.
 
3. Enable "Internet Connection Sharing (ICS )"
Enable Internet Connection Sharing to allow other computers or devices to share the connected Internet.
Steps:
Open the "Network Connection" window, right-click the network connection that has been connected to the Internet, select "properties", switch to the "share" tab, and select the check boxes, and select a network connection that allows them to share the Internet. Here is the virtual Wi-Fi network card we set.
After confirmation, the "shared" icon appears next to the shared Nic icon. This indicates that "Internet Connection Sharing" is activated for the virtual wireless Nic.
 
4. Enable Wireless Network
Run the following command in a command prompt:
Netsh wlan start hostednetwork
You can enable the previously set wireless network.

You can download the latest driver from the official website of your network card, and then try again. Generally, it works successfully!
