The following describes how to configure Windows Live writer and configure the blog site as the blog site. The configurations of other blog sites are similar.
1. The welcome screen is displayed when Windows livewriterportable.exe is first run. If you want to create a new blog, you can select the Microsoft Windows Live Spaces account to create a personal space. You have your own blog and go to the next step.
2. In the Select Type dialog box, select the blog type, configure Windows Live writer to publish to other blog services, and then select next.
3. On the blog homepage and logon dialog box, enter the blog URL, user name, and password, and then select next.
4. In the select provider dialog box, select the type of blog you are using, select metaweblog API in the blog type, and enter "http://www.cnblogs.com/username /services/metaweblog.aspx.pdf" in the remote publishing URL of the blog.
5. In Windows Live writer automatic configuration, after several seconds, the configuration completion dialog box is displayed. After you select finish, the editing page is displayed.
