1.Developer Machine (development machines), personal desktop workstations, with minimal system resources

2.Server machine (server), MySQL server can run with other applications, such as FTP, email, and Web server. The MySQL server is configured to use the appropriate scale of system resources.

3.Dedicated MySQL server machine (dedicated MySQL servers): This option represents a server that only runs the MySQL service. Assume that the run is not running other applications. The MySQL server is configured to use all available system resources.

Step 5: Configure the password

The corresponding interface, we need to set the Root user's password, in "MySQL Root password" (enter new password) and "Repeat password" (confirm) two edit box enter the desired password. You can also add new users by clicking the "Add User" button below. ( Note: current Root Password: empty; If the password is entered in the following installation will be an error )

Step 6: set Windows service name< to default, this is the name of the startup database service, remember.

Step 7: Verify the Service:

In the Start menu bar, accessories , right-click Command prompt, run as Administrator:

Net Start MySQL56 to start the database service command;

net stop MySQL56  to stop the database service command.

Step 8: Connect the test:

Enter the bin directory, execute mysql-u root-p Enter password
