Failure Phenomenon:
Windows XP system cannot install Flash Player
Reason Analysis:
There are a number of reasons why Flash players cannot be installed, and there are generally several reasons for this in the XP system (hardware reasons we do not discuss here):
1. The current computer user does not have administrator privileges.
2. The version you are attempting to install does not match the current system environment.
3. Flash Player is installed on your computer and is higher than the version you are attempting to install.
4. Run more than two Flash Player installer instances at the same time.
5. Some applications are still using Flash Player.
6. Unable to load the main package.
7. ActionList not found/Unable to download meta File/initialization failure/authentication failed/Invalid certificate.
8. System dynamic link library files Jscript.dll and Vbscript.dll are not registered.
9. Flash Player is anti-virus software, Internet Assistant, firewall, etc. block or set in the System Group Policy is not allowed to run the Flash Setup program.
ActiveX cannot be registered.
11. There is a problem with the operating system currently in use.
Solution:
For the above failure reasons, the following solutions are given:
1, the current computer user does not have administrator rights. As shown in figure
In this case, just use the system administrator account to log into the system or contact the Machine Manager.
2. The version you are trying to install does not match the current system environment.
In this case, we just have to make sure that the correct Flash version is selected at the time of installation, as shown in the figure:
3. Flash Player is installed on the computer and is higher than the version you are attempting to install. As shown in figure:
If this is the case, check the version of Flash Player that is installed on your computer. The latest version of Flash player available on your computer will appear on the same page. Install the latest version.
If you need an older version, uninstall the existing version. Flash Player Older versions are available on the Flash Player archive page.
Note: To uninstall the Flash Player Beta, use the appropriate Flash Player beta uninstall program in Adobe Labs.
4. Run more than two Flash Player installer instances at the same time. As shown in figure:
In this case, whenever you click OK in the message that appears, one of the installers will end the installation, and the other installer will automatically continue to run.
5, there are applications are still using Flash Player. As shown in figure:
In this case, just close the application and try to install it again. Also view the background run program icons in the system tray, such as AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and games using Flash (any file with the end of. swf). If you see an icon like this, right-click the icon, and then click Exit.
6, unable to load the main package.
This is because the computer does not have a VeriSign certificate installed. Check your network connection. Make sure the machine has enough virtual memory. If the problem persists, use the direct link to download the Flash Player installer.
7, ActionList not found/Unable to download meta File/initialization failed/authentication failed/Invalid certificate. As shown in figure:
If this is the case, check your network connection. Make sure the machine has enough virtual memory. If the problem persists, use the direct link to download the Flash Player installer.
8, the system dynamic link library file Jscript.dll and Vbscript.dll is not registered status.
This situation will cause you to double-click the installer, do not see the program UI interface, can not continue the installation, the solution is to first press "Win+r" open the cmd window, and then enter the "regsvr32 jscript.dll" and "regsvr32 vbscript.dll", Press the OK button on the pop-up dialog box. As shown in figure:
9, Flash Player is antivirus software, Internet Assistant, firewall, etc. to block or be the administrator in the System Group Policy set not allowed to run Flash Setup program. As shown in figure:
In this case we can do this, as shown in figure:
If not, you can temporarily shut down the firewall and exit the antivirus software.
10, ActiveX cannot register.
For this situation, first make sure that we are logged in as an admin user and have write access to all registry keys for Flash Player. Then perform the following steps:
A. Installation of Subinacl.msi in annex
(default when installed, do not modify its storage path, will affect the second step of the operation.) )
B. After you extract the Reset_fp10.zip from the attachment, copy the Reset_fp10.cmd to the installation path in the previous step (the default is C:Program fileswindows Resource kitstools directory), close other programs before execution ( such as IE, QQ, and so on, and ensure that have administrators permissions, the implementation of Reset_fp10.cmd, about the need for a few minutes, after the completion of the prompt "Press any key to exit."
C. Double-click the Fixflash.reg file in the attachment to import the registry.
D. Manually delete the Flash folder under "C:windowssystem32macromed".
E. Open Adobe's Web site to install
http://get.adobe.com/cn/flashplayer/

Please check the "Tools"-> "admin Add-ins" in the IE window, and if Shockwave Flash object is displayed as "disabled", change to "enable". As shown in figure:
11. There is a problem with the operating system currently in use.
In this case, just restore the system or reinstall the system.
