Word search and replacement functions are very powerful. Skilled use of this function in document editing can solve many problems. Next, we will introduce the application of this function through four instances.

Task 1. Set the font format in batches

Task requirements:A long Word document containing the word "blog" in multiple places. Now, you must set all the words to underlined red bold characters.

Operation Method:Replace all "blogs" in the document with "blogs" in bold, red, and underlined format ".

Step 1: Open the document, select "blog" in one place, and press Ctrl + F to open the "search and replace" dialog box of Word.

Step 2: On the "replace" tab of the "search and replace" dialog box, the "blog" text box is automatically entered in the "search content" text box. In this step, in the "Replace with" box, we also enter "blog ".

Step 3: In this step, we will set the format for the text content entered in the "Replace with" box. Position the cursor in the "Replace with" text box, click "advanced", click "format", and select "font" in the pop-up menu to open the "font" dialog box, in this dialog box, select "bold" for "font", "Red" for "font color", and "underline line" for "fine underline ", click OK to return to the find and replace dialog box.

Some friends asked, why not use a format brush? Styles are useful for setting the format of a few texts or paragraphs. However, if you need to set a large number of texts or paragraphs or a long document, use styles to change the format one by one, it is estimated that the document has not been changed, and all the styles have been wiped out.

Task 2. Search with wildcards

Task requirements:The document contains multiple titles and requires that the titles (that is, the text included between the titles "" ") be set to both black and red.
