PERFORM 3D Output: Use ratio, Pushover, energy balance, modal shape, deformed shape, displacement, and time history of force. Perform-3d (nonlinear Analyze and performance assessment for 3D Structure) three-dimensional structural nonlinear analysis and performance evaluation software, formerly known as DRAIN-2DX and Drain-3dx, Developed by Professor Powell of the University of California, Berkeley, is a non-linear computing software for seismic design. Nonlinear analysis of complex structures, including shear wall structures, is carried out by means of constraint states based on deformation or strength. PERFORM-3D provides users with a powerful seismic engineering analysis tool for static pushover analysis and nonlinear dynamic time-history analysis. The static or dynamic nonlinear analysis can be implemented in a model at the same time, and the load can be applied in any order, such as static pushover analysis after the dynamic time-history analysis is completed. PERFORM-3D provides powerful analysis capabilities based on performance design, and its performance is based on atc-40,fema-356 or ATC-440 automatic evaluation. PERFORM 3D is a non-linear software tool dedicated to seismic resistance design. Nonlinear analysis of complex structures using deformation-based or strength-based limiting states, including intricate layout of shear wall structures. Model data can be imported from Etabs or SAP2000. Supports multiple types of cells, including beams, columns, supports, openings, shear walls, slabs, viscous dampers and isolators with nodal areas. Static or dynamic nonlinear analysis can be implemented in one model at the same time. The load can be applied in any order, for example the static pushover analysis after the calculation of the dynamic seismic action.
The PERFORM 3D provides powerful analysis capabilities for performance-based design, allowing you to calculate all throttling states and requirements/capabilities ratios for all components. Performance is based on ATC-40, FEMA-356, or ATC-440 automatic evaluation.
