Description Domino users can modify the internet password through the Web. After the change, the old password is stored in the cache of the server, retained for two days to ensure that the replication between the management request database and the domino address book is complete. A password change request is initiated by the adminp task. In the admin request database admin4.nsf, the "Change HTTP password in Domino Directory" management request is sent. What if the default cache duration is too long or too short? Can I adjust the cache time? Configuration
You can modify the cache time by adding the following parameters to the notes. ini file of the server:
Http_pwd_change_cache_hours
The format is as follows:
Http_pwd_change_cache_hours = x(X indicates the number of hours in which the old password is stored in the cache ).
During this cache period, the old and new passwords are valid.
In addition, if the security policy document has been set on the server, under the "password management" tab, the domain value "allow users to change Internet passwords over HTTP" should be "yes ".
