There are four ways to check whether the card hardware acceleration (QE/CI) has been enabled: Method 1: run a Chess game (Chess). If you can move the Chess piece, congratulations, your video card hardware acceleration has been enabled. Method 2: Check whether the Screen Saver is working. Turn on the system preference settings and choose desktop> Screen Saver. Click the screen saver tag to test a screen saver. If you see an empty screen at this time, it means that the video card acceleration is not enabled. Method 3: test the Dashboard and drag and drop a widget. When you add a widget, if you see a ripple effect (or cool effect), congratulations, hardware acceleration is enabled. Method 4: Open the Front Row. If you can run the command, QE/CI is enabled; otherwise, QE/CI is not enabled. Method 5: Run Grapher. If a 3D image is displayed, QE/CI is enabled. Otherwise, QE/CI is not enabled. Method 6: If you can use grab screenshots, The QE/CI has been opened; otherwise, the QE/CI has not been opened.
