How do I back up my personal certificate for Windows Encrypting File System (EFS)?

1. Enter "Certmgr.msc" in run or search on the Start menu, and then click Enter or "OK" to open Certificate manager.

2. In the Certificate Export Wizard, click Next.

3. In the "Certificate" management interface Click "personal" → "certificate", in the right window to select the certificate to back up;

4. Right click, select "Export ..."

5. In the Certificate Export Wizard, select Yes, export private key, EFS decryption function will rely on private key to provide. If you select "No, do not export private key", this key export, and then re-import into the new system will not be able to decrypt the encrypted file with this key.

6. Click "Next", the following dialog box to choose the default settings, click "Next", and finally "complete" can be.
