How does the fingerprint recognition feature built into Windows 7 work?

Operation Steps:

This article takes the AuthenTec AES1610 type fingerprint recognizer as an example, other models are similar to this operation. To use the fingerprint recognition feature:

1. Click Start, All Programs, Windows update, click Check Update button. As shown in the following photos

3. Please refer to the ScreenTip and you will need to restart your computer after the fingerprint Identification device driver is installed.

4. When the computer restarts, click Start, Control Panel, hardware and sound, biometric devices. As shown in the following figure

5. Click Manage fingerprint data. As shown in the following figure

6. Click the finger icon you want to set and enter your Windows account password. As shown in the following figure

7. According to the ScreenTip information, put the finger on the fingerprint recognizer to scan the fingerprint information. As shown in the following figure

8. After fingerprint scan is completed, log off the computer and log in to Windows by scanning fingerprint.
