Homemade soft route

There are many types of router devices on the market, but according to different functions, many routers are expensive. If we only use vro technology to implement the routing function between networks, I suggest you create a vro. We can use "obsolete computers + software" to build a soft router. In this way, you can use this soft route to achieve automatic switching between multiple lines.

When making a router, we need a router software first. Hispiderrouter is a dedicated router technology system that allows you to switch between multiple networks. Then we need to prepare an idle computer. The computer configuration is not required, and the general old computer can be eliminated by the Organization. If dual-line parallelism is implemented, three Mbps NICs should be installed on the computer. If three-line parallelism is implemented, we can install four NICs, and so on. In addition, Hi-SpiderRouter is a Linux-based independent operating system that requires an exclusive disk and cannot be installed on an existing operating system. We need to prepare a hard disk without data, during system installation, the hard disk is repartitioned and formatted.

How a sea spider router works

Install three NICs on the computer where you want to install the sea spider routing system. The first Nic is the switch connecting the LAN, another network adapter connects to the ISP broadband connection of China Telecom or the network cable derived from the education network Optical Fiber transceiver, as the first entry. The last Nic connects to the network cable from the broadband debug modem as the second entry. After the sea spider routing system is installed, you can set Automatic broadband dialing, in this way, the network traffic of multiple networks such as broadband and CERNET will be transmitted from the first Nic to each computer in the LAN through the switch of the unit.

Vro Technical Configuration

After the system is installed, in order to use the router smoothly, we need to first locate the three NICs of the router technology. After the system is started, a console logon information is displayed on the vro. In the login project, enter the user name to log on successfully. Linked: The following shows Up, indicating that the inserted Nic is a LAN Nic. If it is Down, it indicates a WAN interface. Based on this information, we can insert the network cable to each network card, and press enter in turn to refresh the menu to locate the network card.
 
By default, the IP address of the local area network interface is 192.168.0.253. If your network environment does not correspond to this IP address segment, we can modify it on our own. Select "2" in the preceding console to go to the IP address modification page. In "NewIPAddressforLANinterface (q = cancel):", enter the new IP address and press Enter. Tip: the IP address of the router technology must be in the same network segment as the school IP address. For example, if the IP address of the router technology is changed to 192.168.1.2, then the IP addresses of each computer in the LAN are 192.168.1.3 and 192.168.1.4. If DHCP is enabled on the vrodhcp, you can set the IP address of the computer in the LAN to automatically obtain the IP address.

Vro achieves dual-network Parallelism

After configuring the sea spider, we can use the router technology to implement dual-line parallel processing. If the IP address of the campus network is 172. 25 .*.*. In addition, the school also applies for the Netcom width independently and wants to connect to the LAN through the school switch. We can easily achieve dual-network parallel through the sea spider. To use broadband on various computers in the LAN, we need to set up the router technology's automatic dialing function in the spider system. First, make sure that all the computers in the organization are in the same CIDR Block and connected to the network cable.

Then open the browser on one of the computers, enter the IP address of the router technology in the address bar (URL), open a logon interface to enter the Web Console interface. In "Access Settings> WAN Interface 1 Settings" and "wan interface 2 Settings", we can set the network connection and campus network, so that we can use the education network and China Netcom in parallel.
