What is Defender?
Windows Defender, formerly known as Microsoft AntiSpyware, is a program used to remove, isolate, and prevent spyware. It can run on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 operating systems and has been built into Windows Vista, windows 7 and Windows 8/10.
Add the Defender icon to the taskbar
1. PressWIN + R key combinationAfter entering the following interface, enter regedit in the input box and press enter;
2. On the registry page, locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run, right-click the blank area on the right bar, and choose new -- string value;
3. Name it windows Defender;
4. Now, we only need to double-click windows defender. In the pop-up window, we only need to follow the steps shown in the figure below to enter "% ProgramFiles % \ Windows Defender \ MSASCui.exe"-runkey, and then click OK;
5. Right-click the task bar and select the task manager;
6. Find "windows resource manager" in task manager, and right-click "restart;
7. Then we will see the Defender icon in the taskbar in the lower right corner of the computer.
In this way, Defender is on the taskbar. We can see it is a bit like a firewall icon. We can double-click it to start the software management interface.
