The new GA version provides CSV, TSV, TSV for Excel, and Excel data export methods.
Go to any report page, click Export, and select export option to export the desired data and save it as an Excel report file for local data processing.
The report page displays the amount of data, the exported amount of data, and the last row is the summarized data. The report page of GA can display a maximum of 500 data records by default. Generally, you can export a maximum of 500 data records. However, if you want to export more than 500 data entries, you can also use the following method for details:
To export more than 500 records in the old ga version, you must add the limit parameter after the report URL to specify the data volume to be exported. In fact, V5 also provides similar functions, which may be more powerful.
From the comparison of this function, we can see that the GA version of v5 is also greatly improved in performance. In the earlier ga version, even if the limit parameter is used, the maximum number of data exported at a time is 20000. In V5, the maximum number of data exported at a time is 50000. In addition, you can configure a filter to obtain the desired data and then export it, this can effectively reduce the volume of exported data. In the old ga version, only all data can be exported before post-processing.
The method for modifying the export data ceiling is the same as that for modifying the old ga version. We need to modify the URL parameter that represents the data ceiling.
First, go to the report you want to export data, here I am using the report content> website content> page, we get the URL like this: https://www.google.com/analytics/web? Hl = zh_cn # report/content-Pages/a18159656w36598318p36050032/
This URL does not have the required parameters, but identifies our location report/content-Pages/. Let's select the number of lines displayed in the lower right corner of the report form, for example, to 25 lines.
We get a URL like this: https://www.google.com/analytics/web? Hl = zh_cn # report/content-Pages/a7874902w16105261p41476608/% 3fexplorer-table.rowstart % 3d0% 26explorer-table.rowcount % 3d25/
Note that the explorer-table.rowCount % 3d25 in this URL represents the upper limit of the data displayed on the current page, and we can change it to 50000
Https://www.google.com/analytics/web? Hl = zh_cn # report/content-Pages/a7874902w16105261p41476608/% 3fexplorer-table.rowstart % 3d0% 26explorer-table.rowcount % 3d50000/
Press enter to reload the page. This will take a long time. Think about how many MB of 50000 pieces of data may exist, for example, 3 MB.
This shows an improvement between the V5 version and the old version. In this way, not only the amount of data exported, but also the maximum data displayed on the interface has changed, that is, the amount of data you see on the interface will also change to 50000.
What if you need more than 50000 data records? One way is to "go to" and enter "50001" in the lower-right corner of the report interface to switch to the data report starting from 50,001st, or click to enter the next page; another way is to modify the explorer-table.rowStart parameter in the URL, which represents the sequence number of records that are displayed at the beginning of the page. If you need to display data after 50001 entries, modify the data to 50000. Therefore, the serial number starts from 0.
