How to Prevent Automatic Win10 upgrade and Prevent Automatic win10 upgrade
Now Microsoft has released an official method to prevent auto-upgrade of the Win10 system. The specific procedure is as follows: Please come and check out my experience.
Here, we first use the Group Policy Editor to modify, press the Windows logo key + R key on the desktop, open the Run Command, enter"Gpedit. msc"Option.
After the Group Policy Editor is opened, double-click the function Selection option on the left to go to the page:Computer Configuration-management template-Windows Components.
Next, under the Windows component option, double-click this function and find:"Turn off the upgrade to the latest version of Windows through Windows Update"Option, double-click to open this setting.
Next, click the settings option and select"Enabled"Option, and then click"OK"Button to save the Group Policy settings.
If the operating system version you installed does not support opening the Group Policy, you can open the Registry Editor or enter"Regedit.
Next, we need to open the registry editor page on the left and locate the subitem:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Gwx option.
If you cannot find the Gwx subitem, right-click the Windows directory and choose createGwx.
Next, under the open Gwx subitem, we click to select this subitem, and select"New-DWORD (32-bit) Value.
Next, double-click to open the New DWORD (32-bit) value, and then change the key value of this item to"1And click OK to save the changes to the Registry Editor.
Finally, we can press Alt + F4 on the desktop, and then select Restart computer in the pop-up menu. After the computer restarts, we can successfully set to prevent the system from automatically upgrading to Win10, try it now.
