WIN10 Admin Account administrator is closed and hidden by default to prevent this high privilege account from being "abused" to affect system security. But sometimes we also need to open the account to do some special tasks. However, after we logged into the Windows 10 Administrator account, we found that all Windows applications were unable to run, and even some users were able to reflect that even the Start menu was not open (individual phenomena) because the Win10 Start menu is also Windows application.
This problem is due to the fact that Windows applications are open by default and require user Account Control UAC support (shutting down UAC notifications under normal accounts does not affect such applications), while the WIN10 administrator account does not open UAC. Therefore, Windows applications cannot be run by default under the Administrator account.
▲ in Admin account, Windows Application cannot be opened by default
However, if you modify the following registry slightly, you can break through the default blockade and run Windows applications properly in the Administrator account.
Tip: There is a risk of modifying the registry, please back up the data in advance and carefully operate under the guidance of a professional person.
The modification method is as follows:
1, in the general account Cortana search bar
After entering the regedit, select the first item;
2. In Registry Editor, navigate to the following location:
Hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\system
3, on the right to find Filteradministratortoken, double-click the value of the data to "1" after the click "OK."
Note: If there is no filteradministratortoken, you need to manually right-click in the right margin, new DWORD (32-bit) value, and renamed to Filteradministratortoken, its numerical data to 1.
Log on to the administrator account at this time, you can open the Windows application normally, if you can not use the Start menu, this time should also open the normal
