How to handle Windows Update prompt when Windows 7 is switched on and off
Recently, when a user switches on or off Windows 7, the Windows Update window is always displayed, prompting the user to restart the computer to complete the installation of important updates. Solution 1:
1. Start-control panel. View method: category, click to open system and security;
2. Select Windows update;
3. Select change settings. Choose not to detect updates, check out the recommended updates and who can install the updates, and click OK;
Solution 2:
1. Start, search and run gpedit. msc, and open the Group Policy;
2. on the displayed tab, select user configuration-manage template and double-click it;
3. Find the Windows component under the management template, double-click it, find Windows update under the Windows component project, and choose to delete the access permission to use all Windows update functions;
4. Double-click to delete the access permissions for all Windows update functions. On the displayed tab, set it to enabled. Configure the notification to not display any notifications. After confirmation, the above problems will not occur.
