Port 3389 is the service port of Windows 2000 (2003) Server Remote Desktop. You can use the remote desktop and other connection tools to connect to the remote server, after entering the user name and password of the system administrator, the remote computer can be operated like the local computer. Therefore, the remote server usually closes the port modifier.
To modify the value, you need to modify the Registry in two places:
First place:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ terminalserver \ WDS \ rdpwd \ TDS \ Tcp] portnumber value. The default value is 3389, Which is changed to the expected port, such as 6000.
Second place:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Terminal Server \ winstations \ RDP-TCP]
Portnumber value. The default value is 3389, Which is changed to the expected port, for example, 6000.
Now we can. Restart the system.
Note:
If port filtering is set, a "advanced" button is displayed in the TCP/IP attribute settings, and the last "option" button is clicked in the TPC/IP filtering, be sure to allow the changed remote port, such as 6000, or remote access fails;
